My name is Apollo Kashanku, 38 years old, I am a Principal Transport Economist with the Ministry of Works and Transport, Uganda. Prior to joining the Public Service, I worked with Emirates Airline in the Sky cargo section. I hold 2 MBAs- one in Transport Economics and Logistics Management and another in Project Management, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Transport Planning, Development and Management (Galilee Institute, Israel) and BSc. Quantitative Economics (Makerere University, Kampala). I have done research on Performance of Railway Transport in Uganda, Railway Concessions in East Africa and currently doing one on Public Transportation in Uganda.
